The Hotel Quinta do Furão will be closed until the end of the year 2010, to be carried out an intensive program of renovation including rooms and public areas.

On the top of a cliff, Quinta do Furão Hotel is surrounded by a majestic scenario which goes from the eastern coast of the island to S. Lourenço end; one can see in the distance Porto Santo and inwards the two highest mountain peaks of the island – Pico Ruivo and Areeiro.
There are 39 rooms and 4 suites, all with view, very comfortable and decorated in a classic sober fashion. The hotel has a heated open air swimming-pool which can be covered in case of rain or bad weather in the winter. There are a sauna, a gymnasium, a game room and a library.
