12:30 pm – Welcome to Participants
A wine aperitif Madeira on Ice is served on the cliff, next to the hotel, accompanied by the traditional sounds of a local Folklore Group, in harmony with one of the most breathtaking scenery of the island - the Atlantic Ocean and the uncut Northeast Coast.
1:00 pm - Lunch
A typical Madeiran Buffet, served around the wine press, consisted mainly of local delicacies, including the inevitable Espetada.
2:00 pm – The Stepping
The grape stepping begins, the high point of the event where everyone can, and must, participate using the traditional way - barefoot!
2:45 pm - Madeira Wine Tasting
